If my mind isn't on my family or work than it is usually on how I can shoot better scores on the golf course. If it were up to me, my first choice would be to play on the PGA tour. Since I do not have that natural ability like Tiger Woods, I choose instead a career selling insurance. I also enjoy playing and watching basketball, football and other sports.
After College I went to work for Farmers Insurance. Over the next ten years I grew to love sales and working with families. I began selling mainly home and auto insurance in the beginning. While working with families on there home and auto insurance, I saw a great need to help them with other areas of insurance like health, life, disability, and long term care.
Through the years I've won rookie of the year and top producer of my state two years in a row. I pride myself on my ability to listen to the client, give the necessary information and then allow the client to make their own decision without being hounded. Over the years growing up, my father has taught me to be honest with people, even if the truth may hurt. I have tried to implement this quality in my career when dealing with insurance clients. By working with families who are in need of health insurance, I am able to get to know them and their situations on a much closer and deeper level.
