Hi, I'm Luke Kempen,

I just wanted to welcome you and congratulate you on finding HSA for America.  This is the one place where you can get all your health insurance questions answered and all your health insurance problems solved.

I really enjoy helping people and families solve what often appear to be overwhelming issues surrounding the purchase of health insurance.  I bring a unique insight to the process when I help people design a health insurance plan because I have actually been on both sides of the table.

I gained a perspective on the corporate side of health insurance from my years as a CPA in an international accounting firm and as VP of Finance where I dealt with the issues surrounding employee benefit programs nearly every day.  When I left the security of the corporate America and opened my own small business, I was forced to view these same issues from the other side.  I had to create workable benefit package (including health insurance) for my family without the shelter of a large corporation to foot the bills.

When I began working with Wiley Long and the team at HSA for America, I came to realize that it was the personal experience of creating my own health insurance solution that makes this an incredibly rewarding job.  Because I have been right where you are, when I listen to you describe your concerns, I know exactly how you feel.

To say I enjoy helping my customers create those health insurance solutions is an understatement.  I really love what I am doing.  And I really love the fact that HSA for America doesn’t just sell health insurance.  We also do all we can to keep you informed on ways to continue to save money on your health insurance, medical expenses, and income taxes.  One way we do this is through our popular newsletter, Maximize Your HSA.

I’d also like to let you know a little about me and my family.  In 1991 my wife, Rhonda, and I decided that we really wanted to raise our two boys in a small town atmosphere.  So moved back to Eau Claire Wisconsin.

We love the small town atmosphere, and enjoy all the outdoor activities available in our little slice of paradise.  Our sons (Austin the eldest and Trevor) are both involved in sports and as a family we are very connected to our community and our church.

You will often find me outside, weather permitting, working on my landscaping or in my garden.  I have always loved the outdoors.  So much so when I left corporate America it was to open a new business called Nature’s Pride Organic Lawn Systems.  I successfully grew that business for more than 4 years and recently sold it. 

Life is full and rich.  My family and I are deeply connected to our community, and I feel that I am making a real difference in peoples lives by helping them create health insurance solutions that meet their family’s needs.
