My name is Robin Briones, and I want to welcome you to HSA for America. Throughout my life, I have been committed to helping people. Whether I’m teaching elementary school, managing a Sunday School program, being a “Room Mom” for my elementary school aged children, or helping people with insurance needs, finding solutions for people has always been my priority. This is also where I do most of my networking; school, church, and sports activities.
Working with insurance clients is a natural fit for me. My personal goal every time is to assist my clients and prospects with finding the strongest and most favorable health and life insurance plans and programs that best serve their needs. A Health Savings Account (HSA) provides a wonderful benefit to most people who are responsible for paying for all or a portion of their health care. When I am not working with insurance clients and prospects, I am usually on the tennis court, at the gym, or spending time with my family. I play tennis on two different teams most of the year. One league, Pacific Sun, is comprised of about fifteen tennis clubs throughout the Orange County area (Southern California), and we compete from September through April. Our Pacific Sun team is at the “B2” level, which is on the more competitive side. I also play on a USTA team that plays competitively against other teams. Tennis helps keeps me in good physical shape and also keeps my competitive spirit as strong as ever! If I am not on the tennis court, you can usually find me in the gym early in the morning.
I spend much of my time performing acts of service toward my community. I am a regular Sunday school teacher and help the Director of Children’s Ministries manage our other teachers and various volunteers. As a credentialed elementary school teacher having taught second grade for two years, I find it such a blessing to be able to reach out to children and families in this way.

I especially enjoy tutoring elementary students in math as a volunteer doing community service. As a former owner of a math-only tutoring center for four years, I am considered a math specialist at the elementary level. I receive a lot of joy watching a young student understand a particular mathematical concept, in depth, for the first time. As the children I tutor learn, it enables me to keep improving and learning as well.
I
enjoy time with my husband of twelve years, Bert, and our six children,
Heidi, Michelle, Scott, Aaron, Lauren, and Robert. You can call us
the “yours, mine and ours” family! Bert is a partner in
a law firm located in Tustin, CA. They specialize in estate planning,
wills, trusts, and debt relief/mortgage modification. This is how
I was originally drawn to helping people with insurance. Two years
ago, after earning my insurance license, I quickly discovered that many
of their law office clients were not insured at all or were under-insured.
I have helped many families gain control over their insurance needs and
have offered them choices that fit them the best. I am a very
detail-oriented person, and this is how I serve my clients – I do
not leave anything undone!

I
also like the beach, having breakfast with a friend, taking care of our
pets and furthering my education. We have two dogs, a tarantula, a
bearded dragon, a Corn snake, and a leopard gecko. Our oldest son
seems to like unique pets. Luckily, most of these pets are low maintenance!
I really enjoy learning about new things as well, whether it is insurance,
Christian education, teaching math, parenting, or even how to hit a better
volley with a tennis racket!
Being
an HSA for America advisor allows
me to channel my time and energy where it shines the most. I am a
true believer in the saying, “treat others the way you would like
to be treated,” therefore, you can expect a very positive customer
service experience from me. I am happiest when I am helping others,
